Water Trap
Gannaway - made from Acetal This style of water trap removes the bulk of the moisture from breath condensation and saliva. The collected moisture is tipped out of the blowpipe stock at the end of each blowing spell. These water traps are of great assistance to all pipers, many are used in Ross Cannister bags.
The stock is made in two pieces. The outside section is tied into the bag. The inside section has the tube attached. This allows the tube to be removed from the bag for cleaning or when dressing the bag.
The clear plastic tube is reinforced with a wire coil to prevent kinking, and has a permanent neck for blowpipe comfort. With a 16mm bore there is absolutely no blowing resistance, and there is no awareness of the tube being in the bag.
For peak performance the tube must be kept clean.
Available with imitation ivory or stainless steel ferrules.

Drone Extenders
Gannaway - made from Acetal These fit into the reed seat of the drones. This effectively lengthens the drone, making the drones tune further down the slides. These are ideal for those bagpipes where the drones always tune too high. There is a thread on the inside to hold the reed firm. They work well.

Hoods or Chanter Reed Protectors
Gannaway - made from Acetal These have a large ventilation hole in top, and with a thumbscrew fastener they fit all sizes. The reed chamber area is recessed for greater safety for the reed and to allow more air circulation.

Glengarries
Our glengarries are made from top quality materials and are a comfortable fit. They are made from pure wool, and with the strengthening material being laminated canvas, this ensures the glengarry maintains its shape throughout its long life. Available in black only with a choice of coloured pom poms. Sizes: Small, medium and large. Final fitting can be made by stitching the back.
